X

The Ulysse Nardin Freak X is considered the "little brother" of the Freak antecedents. It is an entry-level model of this watch from the renowned Swiss watchmaker. The case size is 43 mm. This watch has a crown for time correction. This watch model has no hands. Their tasks are carried out by movement bridges. The balance wheel is made of silicon and indicates the minutes. The central bridge from the carousel of the watch acts as a minute hand, and one of the wheels indicates the hours. Technically, it is a carousel. The watch is equipped with the manufacture caliber UN-230 and has a self-winding mechanism with a power reserve of 72 hours.

Freaky function & design

The Freak model was first launched in 2001, and this watch model understandably surprised everyone. The Freak was an innovation at the time, and it appears to be very innovative and very futuristic in the new model line as well. This is because Ulysse Nardin at that time had adopted a simple approach of omitting three key elements that actually make up a watch. Namely the crown, the hands and the dial. That sounds quite freaky. After all, hardly anyone at the time could imagine that selling or marketing a watch could work without these three key elements. But it works. And the watch is well received and very popular. The design of the Freak X is a little bit simpler compared to its "relatives". The Ulysse Nardin Freak X is available in titanium, rose gold, black DLC or carbonium.
