The Alpina Seastrong

The Seastrong model from Alpina, with a simple look focused on functionality, has a stainless steel case with a transparent back that, together with the colored bezel, emphasizes the sporty character of the luxury watch. The crown with extra handy profile surface is screwed. The men's watch is 13 mm high. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is part of the basic equipment.

The clockwork

An automatic caliber AL 525, which is also installed in Alpina Starttimer pilot luxury watches, provides a precise time display with 28,800 vibrations per hour. The power reserve is 38 hours.

Bezel

The unidirectional rotating bezel is an important accessory for divers. It marks the beginning of the dive. The indices on the dial and on the bezel are designed to be larger than average and have luminous material to make them visible even in murky water. The color palette of the Seastrong luxury watch ranges from black to burgundy to maritime blue and anthracite.

Dial

Alpina's Seastrong features a reduced design with luminous indexes on its dial. The three-hand movement is covered with luminous material. The typical Alpina triangle can be seen at 12 o'clock, which can also be found on the bezel. The seconds are displayed in increments of five. A date window is located at 3 o'clock. Openworked hands, a red marker on the seconds hand, and narrow hour markers keep the black dial uncluttered. All in black, Alpina's Seastrong benefits from beige luminous material.

The Seastrong models from Alpina

Variations of the Alpina Seastrong include the Seastrong Diver 300 and other functional dive watches in the luxury segment. One of them is the Seastrong Diver 300 Big Date with large date display at 6 o'clock and three sub-dials with 60 seconds, 30 seconds and 1/10 second. The Alpina Seastrong Diver Heritage is a faithful retro model with a black internal dive time ring on the white dial, which can be moved via an additional crown. The Alpina Seastrong Horological Smartwatch pays homage to the growing demand for smartwatches. With the simplicity of a dive watch, it informs of incoming calls, serves as an activity tracker and sleep monitor. The water resistance is 100 meters.

The Alpina brand

Alpina was founded in 1883 as a cooperative of watch dealers and watchmakers by Gottlieb Hauser with the aim of producing watches at low cost. Alpina was registered as a watch brand name for the first time in 1901. Today, Alpina International is headquartered in Geneva.
